Job Description
We are seeking a Plant Controller for our operations in Clyde, Ohio. This role involves a variety of tasks, including monitoring accounting functions, managing annual budgets, and overseeing standard cost accounting. The ideal candidate will have a sound understanding of budgeting and forecasting processes and be proficient with SAP.

Responsibilities:
Oversee all accounting functions to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards
Develop, implement, and manage the annual budget to align with the company's financial goals
Utilize SAP to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency
Maintain the standard cost accounting system, ensuring it accurately reflects the costs of production
Analyze budget processes and recommend improvements as necessary
Conduct budgeting and forecasting activities to predict future financial performance
Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial transparency and consistency across the organization
Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action based on their status
Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as a Plant Controller
Demonstrated proficiency in Accounting Functions
Proven experience with Annual Budget creation and management
Familiarity with Budget Processes within a manufacturing or similar industry
Proficient understanding of Standard Cost Accounting
Experience with SAP software is essential
Strong skills in Budgeting and Forecasting are required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred
Exceptional communication and leadership skills
Ability to work collaboratively with various teams within the organization
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Ability to adapt to changing business needs and deadlines
Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
