Field Electrical- Journeyman/Apprentice Electrician

Construction:

  • Wiring and installation of electrical switchgear/panels/transformers
  • Effectively coordinate installation of electrical system with other on-site trades
  • Installation and termination of MC/HCF cable and connections for Branch circuit requirements.
  • Installation of conduit systems consisting of EMT/PVC/IMC-GRC for branch and feeder applications. Ability to utilize manual pipe benders for EMT/IMC-GRC.
  • Installation of branch and feeder conductors in conduit systems and provide associated terminations for breakers and/or equipment.
  • Provide installation of Hospital related electrical systems. Knowledge of all requirements for each branch system
  • Read and apply electrical/low voltage drawings for complete system installation.
  • Understand applications associated with High and Low Voltage electrical systems.
  • Understand NEC code articles and how they apply to specific installation.
  • Installation of light fixtures for interior and exterior of the building.
  • Installation of lighting control systems
  • Installation of bonding and grounding systems
  • Able to read and understand multi-meter measurements for amperage/voltage/resistance.
  • Understand basic electrical circuitry and apply, to complete and safe installation.
  • Ability to provide electrical connections to HVAC equipment.
  • Installation of generator systems to include: 350-1000KW generators, fuel tank controls/alarm sensors/ ATS, and Generator Docking Stations.

General Info:

  • OSHA 10 certification- minimum or ability to obtain within 2 weeks on the project.
  • Have a valid Journeyman s or Master s license if applying for Journeyman/Master position.
  • For Texas Applicants- if applying for apprentice position, have a valid Texas Apprentice card.
  • Able to travel to jobsites via airplane if required.
  • Valid driver s license
  • Ability to read a tape measure.
  • Able to pass background check and drug screening.
  • Read electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
  • Provide comprehensive overview of electrical and Low Voltage design to provide forward thinking implementation of engineered drawings for on-site installation.
