Job Description
We are offering a CONTRACT opportunity for an FP& A Manager to join our team in Sunnyvale, Texas. This role is instrumental in building and enhancing our finance operations, processes, and best practices. The successful candidate will be instrumental in creating critical analyses and building models that will shape the future of our business in the industry.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with operational leaders to provide insights for modelling and key performance indicator tracking.
Conduct comprehensive analyses to understand and explain significant movements in financials.
Assist in the creation of materials for monthly forecasting, long-range planning, and other executive level reporting.
Analyze and present data in a clear and concise manner for key leaders across the business.
Utilize advanced MS Excel functions in constructing complex models.
Employ financial planning and analysis skills to support decision making.
Utilize QuickBooks and D365 for financial management.
Apply knowledge of accounting functions and annual budget processes.
Carry out ad hoc financial analysis as necessary.
Understand and analyze manufacturing business financials.
- 2-5 years of experience with a preference for candidates with a background in Investment Banking, Finance / Accounting, Private Equity and Strategy
- Expertise within MS Excel; including advanced functions used in building complex models
- Experience with manufacturing business financials
- Strong PowerPoint skills
- Experience with QuickBooks and/or D365
- Bachelor's degree (BS/BBA or equivalent)
- Experience in a large, multi-division company, or experience in a start-up environment is a plus
- Knowledge of GAAP
- Proven ability to multi-task and effectively manage priorities
- Ability to understand technical details, processes and system requirements
- Ability to synthesize large data sets into concise, easy to understand analyses
