Our client is a prominent law firm searching for a Conflicts Attorney to join their legal team. The successful candidate will review conflicts of interest reports for all new client relationships and matters, and address any existing or potential conflicts. This job provides a great opportunity for growth within an esteemed law firm.

Primary Responsibilities:

-Thoroughly analyze conflict search results to identify potential ethical and business conflicts of interest.

-Initiate and implement resolutions for conflicts of interest, ensuring appropriate documentation.

-Liaise with the Loss Prevention committee and Firm leadership to discuss complex conflict matters and streamline the conflict resolution process.

-Review and evaluate conflict clearance reports for potential lateral hires, providing proper follow-ups as needed.

Essential Functions:

-Efficiently manage all conflict of interest issues in the firm, including proper identification, analysis, and resolution.

-Maintain regular communication with responsible team members regarding newly identified conflicts, providing solutions as needed.

-Work closely with the Loss Prevention committee for proper handling of conflict matters, providing updates on firm-wide conflict clearance.

-Regularly update conflict clearance documentation, catering to various individuals within the firm.

Qualifications & Skills:

-Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

-Current admittance to practice in good standing.

-Prior experience within a law firm, preferably in conflict management.

-Excellent analytical abilities and research skills.

-Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

-Organized and detail oriented.

-Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize duties, and meet strict deadlines.

-Familiarity with legal ethics rules and laws related to conflict interest.

-Proficiency in conflict management software.
