Salary range: $217K to $250K*

Position Overview

Reporting to the CEO, Vibrant’s inaugural Chief of Staff has the exciting opportunity to join the organization during a time of growth and change. The Chief of Staff will support the implementation of an organizational transformation while simultaneously driving short and long term change management in a rapidly growing organization. This will include serving as a strategic advisor, assuming day-to-day responsibility for special projects, and facilitating cross-departmental relationships to enable leadership success

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Strategic Partner: Serve as a member of the Leadership team, acting as a trusted advisor to the CEO and partner to Executive Team members. Partners with the CEO and Executive Team to set priorities, align the strategic vision to a detailed plan, manage flow of communications, and delivers operational support and documentation of outcomes This will be achieved by deploying our Strategic Plan and our Management Operating Plan.
  • Strategic Plan outlines our Vibrant business mission, vision, and high-level goals over a multi-year timeframe
  • Operating Plan is a detailed explanation of what our Vibrant departments will focus on for the upcoming year with associated OKR’s & outcome targets.
  • Drive for Transformation: In partnership with the CEO and the Leadership Team, the Chief of Staff will guide the development of our Strategic Operating Model, which is the result of our Strategic and Operating plan inputs.

Strategic Operating Model is the full Vibrant strategic initiatives that will be executed and completed in the coming year to achieve our organizations long term-term strategic vision & priorities

  • Force Multiplier: Integrate into the organization quickly and assess issues that serve as barriers to a team or the organization operating at maximum effectiveness and lead changing portfolio of strategic initiatives as varying needs arise, partnering with other leaders and departments, as needed, and using data and reporting to drive decision making.
  • Relationship Builder: Serve as a connector to the leadership team and others across the organization to influence outcomes, fostering long-term partnerships to ensure organizational success. Build relationships with potential partners in support of Vibrant’s mission.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Mission & Values Alignment: Deep belief in the mission and vision of Vibrant Emotional Health.
  • Executive & Organizational Leadership: Phenomenal organizational leader with a track record of working with and through other executive leaders to organize and align strategic priorities and execute decisions, preferably in an organization experiencing significant growth or change. Leadership experience must include supporting effective change management, enhancing decision making processes, managing cross-functional organization-wide projects, and setting clear priorities, goals, and road maps at the enterprise level to ensure sustainability and support capacity.
  • Chief of Staff Expertise: Experience supporting executive management teams, with a track record of supporting leadership teams to streamline operational efficiency and effectiveness at a growing organization. Demonstrated track record of utilizing metrics and analytics to inform and influence decisions. Strong listening and communication skills and results driven project planner.
  • System and Processes Development and Implementation: Experience leading the successful development of systems and processes to effectively and efficiently project manage competing priorities and that scale with an organization during periods of growth.
  • Culture & Change Leadership: Experience engaging with diverse staff and leadership to promote trust, teamwork, collaboration, and engagement across departments and levels of leadership to advance culture change during times of growth. Outstanding, transparent communicator with the ability to support effective internal communications and change management initiatives.

Decision Making

  • Identifies multi-faceted problems affecting achievement of the organization goals and provides solutions.
  • Analyzes and interprets issues, realigns responsibilities, commits resources and proposes alternative solutions.
  • Multi-factor decision- making requiring research and analysis

Scope Of Responsibility/Accountability

  • Create and manages programs/projects from conceptions to completion, creates and implements work plans and objectives.
  • Support CEO in the preparation of board meetings and presentations
  • Monitors and evaluates interim results and develops contingency plans if objectives are off track.
  • Performance is reviewed by the Chief Operating Officer and other senior leadership executives.

Managing/Directing Work

  • Interprets standards, communicates constructive feedback and guides others in developing their capacity to perform more effectively.
  • Participates in planning and implementing small- and large-scale work activities and contributes to evaluation of results for assigned objectives.
  • Manages their own task list with minimal supervision.

Required Qualifications

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree preferred
  • 8+ years of senior leadership experience and 5+ supporting C-level executive leaders and organizational objectives
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Jira, Asana

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
  • Will constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer
