Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Scheduler to join our team. You will be the first point of contact for patients, managing the check-in process and collecting copayments. You will confirm patient information, call late arrivals, and assist with rescheduling or canceling appointments as needed. Additionally, you will handle administrative tasks such as receiving packages, checking the mail, and keeping the front desk area organized. You will work closely with the administrative team to ensure that daily operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Compensation

  • $17.00 - $20.00/hr
  • Bilingual pay differential for those who qualify

Work Schedule:

  • Monday – Thursday, 8 AM – 6 PM; Friday, 8 AM – 12 PM
  • No weekends or travel required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and check-in patients upon arrival.
  • Maintain professionalism in a pediatric clinic setting while giving excellent customer service.
  • Schedule for Scottsdale and Phoenix providers.
  • Collect necessary copayments at check-in.
  • Confirm and update patient information during check-in.
  • Call patients who are late to appointments to get an ETA or reschedule as needed.
  • Assist with rescheduling or canceling one-off appointments.
  • Receive and properly store delivered packages.
  • Check the mail on a weekly basis and distribute as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in medical reception or a similar role.
  • 1-4 years of experience providing excellent customer service in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficient with office technology: computer systems, printers, fax machines, multi-phone line system
  • Ability to maintain
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records systems and basic office software.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to last-minute changes.
  • Familiarity with clinic operations and medical terminology is a plus.
