About the Role: We are not looking for someone to buildan Android application, but rathersomeone to build out the Android platform for their application.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent in Math or Physics).
- 5-10 years of experience in software development.
- Strong understanding of SaaS platforms, particularly building multi-tenant systems.
- Proficiency in Python, Go, and C#.
- Experience with multimedia transport protocols (e.g., RTP, RTMP, SRT, UDP, HLS/DASH).
- Familiarity with cloud-based video workflows and digital rights management systems (DRM) like Playready, Widevine, and FairPlay.
- Experience with Blockchain/Web3 technology.
Preferred Experience:
- Previous work on live/VOD video streaming platforms.
- Development of Android/iOS/SmartTV applications.
- Experience with video encryption and security, such as zero-trust security networks.
Role Overview:
- Design and develop OTT (over-the-top) video applications for mobile and TV.
- Develop a cross-platform app with customizable UI templates and plugin frameworks.
- Collaborate with a global, distributed development team.
- Mentor junior developers and lead agile teams.
