School Based Orientation and Mobility Specialist Opening north of Flint, MI

We are now interviewing School Based Orientation and Mobility Specialists to work throughout the school district. This is a supportive school district north of Flint, MI that offers the opportunity to work the 24/25 School Year.

Qualifications:

  • Must posses one of these degrees: a Master's Degree in Orientation Mobility(O&M), Orientation and Mobility for Children (OMC), or TCVI/OMC
  • Need to have the ACVREP Certification
  • Need an active MI OMS State License

Job Details:

  • Part Time Hours: 2-3 days/week
  • Caseload: 11 students across the district
  • Duties: Ability to travel between schools and training sites and have the ability to lift and carry 45 pounds or more
  • Aug 20, 2024 to June 6, 2025
  • On-site Only
