The City of Minot is now accepting applications for Project Civil Engineer I Municipal in the Engineering Department. This position will remain open until filled. Please review the attached job description for complete information.
Nature of Work:
The Municipal Engineer works within the Engineering Department and assists with engineering duties related to maintenance of the City s roadway network. These are tasks including but not limited to:
- Design and drafting of maintenance, rehabilitation, and reconstruction projects
- Construction observation of street, utility, and federal aid construction projects
- Survey and data collection of city infrastructure assets
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor s degree from an ABET accredited college or university with major course work in civil engineering or a related field and two years of experience in construction or engineering related to public works projects; or any equivalent combination of training and experience. Possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate, valid registration as an Engineer Intern.
Possession of a valid North Dakota Driver License.
Compensation and Benefits
- The assigned salary range for the position of Project Civil Engineer I under the 2024 City of Minot Pay Plan is Grade 68, which is an annual salary range of $67,990- $100,931.
- This is a full time, salaried, FLSA Exempt Position
