Genesis Technical is seeking a Sr. Mechanical Engineer for a contract to direct or direct opportunity in Mobile, Alabama.

Mechanical Engineer

  • 10 yrs experience, minimum.
  • In-plant experience is preferred, refinery, paper mill or chemical plant
  • BSME a must.
  • PE preferred.
  • Must have experience specifying common process equipment (i.e. vessels, agitators, pumps, heat exchangers, etc.) and be familiar with design and construction codes related to same.
  • Must have good communication skills and be capable of working closely with project team.
  • Experience performing compressible and non-compressible hydraulic analysis is preferred.
  • Experience performing piping stress analysis using Caesar II software is a plus.
  • Must have good overall mechanical background, whether as maintenance or design engineer.
