Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/.Position SummaryThis role has overall responsibility for the management, coordination, and execution of U.S. based health equity and global health stakeholder engagement. They support the design and execution of cross-cutting engagement strategies with U.S. domestic health equity institutions such as philanthropic foundations (i.e. Robert Wood Johnson Foundation),healthcare systems (i.e. community centers & hospitals), provider associations; high-priority global health and multilateral institutions such as USAID, Gates Foundation; and Corporate Partners such as Google, Microsoft, to advance J&J’s health equity priorities. They also represent J&J in select coalitions/alliances, and liaise with organizations advocating for J&J’s health equity priorities.The Engagement Team is responsible for maximizing awareness of Global Health Equity's work to priority external stakeholders. Through these engagements, J&J leverages large-scale resources from complementary organizations to achieve greater health impact.Responsibilities

  • Facilitate engagement with priority U.S. and Global Health Equity stakeholders by networking, nurturing relationships, leading outreach, and coordinating engagements with input from relevant internal stakeholders
  • Specifically, the role requires scanning the external ecosystem to determine what organizations are seeking in terms of health equity engagements, and matching these with the expertise that J&J can bring to these organizations, due to our breadth and depth as a cross-sector, cross-functional entity.
  • Support the development and execution of engagement strategies with global and regional stakeholders in support of GHE access strategies.
  • Convene, catalyze, and collaborate in unique internal and external coalitions/alliances to expand and strengthen networks.
  • Support J&J representation or, in some cases represent J&J externally in convenings and meetings with key organizations for GHE. From an external perspective, this role serves as the point of contact for External Engagement for U.S. based global health events (e.g. UNGA).
  • Participate in GHE cross-sector teams to infuse insight and external feedback to advance J&J GHE’s goals

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years of relevant professional experience in the areas of corporate social responsibility, community engagement, philanthropy, social development, and/or employee engagement
  • Strong strategic planning and business acumen
  • Experience leading a team with a focus on development and engagement
  • Passion for measurement and impact as a means for success
  • Agile thinker; forward and proactive thinking combined with an ability to connect the dots in given complex situations
  • Highly developed and proven collaboration and networking skills with the ability to drive results in a matrix environment.

SalaryThe base pay range for this position is $142,000 to $244,950 USD.BonusThe Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.Benefits

  • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year
  • Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
