Our client is a well-established and reputable insurance agency specializing in commercial lines insurance solutions. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Commercial Lines Manager to lead our service staff, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure exceptional customer service. As the Commercial Lines Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the service operations of our agency and leading a team of 15 employees. You will play a key role in managing accounts during peak times, ensuring workflow efficiency, and promoting a client-centric culture. Your extensive commercial property insurance expertise, leadership acumen, and proficiency in utilizing technology and data analysis will contribute to the agency's growth and success.
  • Lead, manage, and mentor a service staff of 15 employees, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and professional development.
  • Assist account managers by directly managing accounts during high-demand periods, providing support to maintain excellent client relationships.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies that enhance operational efficiency, client satisfaction, and agency profitability.
  • Oversee the utilization of agency management system (AMS 360), ensuring accurate data entry, efficient workflow, and effective reporting.
  • Run reports, analyze data, and present insights to inform decision-making, identify growth opportunities, and improve processes.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement, promoting effective communication and collaboration within the service team.
  • Manage and resolve escalated client issues, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication.
  • Utilize your extensive commercial insurance experience to provide guidance and support to the service team.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and market developments to guide the agency's service strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to streamline processes, enhance client experiences, and ensure compliance.
  • Float and assist as needed within the service team to maintain optimal workflow and provide exceptional client service.
  • Utilize computer software, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other relevant tools, to support agency operations and analysis.

Qualifications:
- Active 220 insurance license is required.
- 10+ years of experience in commercial lines insurance, with a focus on commercial property coverage.
- Proficiency in using agency management systems, ideally AMS 360.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven leadership and managerial experience, including staff management, hiring, training, and team building.
- Detail-oriented with a strong aptitude for computers and technology.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
