Summary of Role/Position

We are currently seeking a Systems Administrator to be a leading force behind team s efforts to drive technology innovation, lead multiple projects and support IT infrastructure of our fast-growing company. This professional will be responsible for design, implementation and support of various data center and IT infrastructure solutions. This individual will bring strong experience of over 10 years of support across various industries. This individual is also expected to provide exceptional customer services, be a great communicator and contributor, be a great team member, and have ability to deliver high quality work under any circumstances.

YOU WILL:

  • Development and maintenance of IT support policies, procedures, and standards to ensure a consistent and efficient approach to IT support service delivery
  • Act as a Tier 2 escalation point for various production related issues.
  • Windows Server administration - Installation, configuration, deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting in a Windows Server infrastructure. Ability to write PowerShell scripts preferred.
  • Support Windows Active Directory infrastructure.
  • Support Linux Server Administration install, configure, deploy, maintain and troubleshoot
  • Manage Monthly patching of servers and workstations
  • Support teams P2V efforts of migrating from legacy systems to the latest technology solutions.
  • Manage Microsoft Azure and Office 365 infrastructure.
  • Establish process of creating project documentation, policies, and procedures with the goal of improving operational efficiencies within the team.
  • Work with other teams to analyze & resolve production issues, including debugging, analysis, and identification of application issues, for a range of products and services.
  • Foster positive relationships with peers, supervision, stakeholders, 3rd Parties, and mentor less experienced team members.

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Experienced with patch management tools like Automox, Jamf, WSUS, SCCM
  • Experienced with monitoring tools ls such as New Relic, OpManager, Splunk, ITSM tools.
  • 2+ years Linux administration. Must be familiar with common administrative commands as well as able to write scripts in one of the major shells.
  • Knowledge of various backup and storage technologies, such as: Rubrik, VMware vSAN, NetApp, etc.
  • Experienced with Nutanix hyperconverged virtualization platform and VMWare Virtualization w/ VSphere 6.x Administration,
  • 5+ years experience managing Microsoft Active Directory (DFS, DNS, DHCP, GPO s, SCCM, SCOM).
  • 5+ years experience managing Windows server infrastructures.
  • Systems administration of Windows systems using PowerShell, scripting, and automation.
  • Experience or familiarity with cloud architectures and platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic Understanding of automation tools/frameworks such as Ansible, Terraform Jenkins,
  • Experience working in public cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP and Azure
  • Office 365 administration.
  • 3+ years experience supporting VDI infrastructures.
  • Will need to be flexible on the work shifts as we need to be able to support other parts of the globe.
  • Work with and advise team members and customers on best practices, advanced troubleshooting, and future systems designs.
  • Willing to work on night shift
  • Hybrid setup
