We are looking to add an exceptional Traveling Plumbing Journeyman to our team.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Locate and mark position of pipe and pipe connections and passage holes for pipes in walls and floors, using ruler, spirit level, and plumb bob
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings, using hand tools and power tools
  • Cut and thread pipe, using pipe cutters, cutting torch, and pipe-threading machine
  • Study building plans and working drawings to determine work required and sequence of installations
  • Inspect structure to ascertain obstructions to be avoided to prevent weakening of structure resulting from installation of pipe
  • Able to travel to project sites throughout the US

Experience:


  • 5+ years of plumbing commercial and/or industrial experience / Journeyman
  • 3 + years of plumbing commercial and/or industrial experience / Foreman
  • Plumbing State license Master or Journeyman card preferred but not required
  • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, layouts, and specification (structural, architectural, civil, plumbing and cut sheets)
  • Have basic hand tools and know how to use properly and safely
  • Able to work with a vast range of materials and know proper installation of products listed below but not limited to:
  • PVC DWV sch 40
  • CPVC sch 40 & 80
  • PEX
  • Uponor
  • Cast Iron
  • Copper sweat, brazing & propress
  • Carriers for WC, EWC, Lav, and urinals
  • Hangers and supports Roof drains
  • Water heaters
  • Set all types of fixtures for finish
  • Ice machines
  • Working knowledge of installing electrical systems in a new construction setting
