Data Manager Leader

STRENGTHS TO BE SUCCESSFUL

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data architecture and data management roles.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing data warehouses, data marts, and data lakes.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling techniques (star, snowflake, dimensional) and data warehousing concepts.
• Expertise in ETL/ELT tools and data integration platforms.
• Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages (Python, R, etc.).
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance regulations
• Experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Understanding of statistical analysis and data mining techniques.
• Strong ability to build relationships with business stakeholders and understand their data needs.
• Experience in defining and implementing data governance frameworks.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
• Conduct data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities.
• Develop and execute data governance policies and procedures to protect data assets and comply with regulations.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure data architecture aligns with business objectives.
• Partner with business units to define data definitions, establish data ownership, and identify critical data elements.
• Mentor and develop team members to enhance their technical and leadership skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time.
• If remote is desired, must be driving distance from one of the Wildman Business Group sites.
