Responsibilities:
-Serve as a role model and mentor for writing well-architected, well-tested, and easy-to-understand code.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
-Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
-Manage code organization and development operations with a security-first mindset.
-Engage in code reviews, pair programming, team collaboration, and training to maintain and improve the digital products ecosystem.
-Be part of a small team that values high-quality software, continuous improvement, collaboration, and rapid iterative development.
-Utilize your technical expertise to solve challenging problems, adapt to change, and leverage new technologies and best practices.

Qualifications:
-Formal education in Computer Science or a related field.
-Minimum of 5 years of experience in a professional software engineering role.
-Proficient in JavaScript (including ReactJS), Python, PHP, and SQL.
-Experience using Git and platforms like GitHub in a team environment.
-Comfortable using the command line in Linux and MacOS environments.
-Experience with front-end technologies like Sass/CSS and frameworks such as Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS.
-Strong understanding of database technologies and proficiency in relational databases.
-Solid object-oriented programming skills and knowledge of software design patterns.
-Experience building scalable, complex web systems successfully delivered to end-users.
-Expertise in optimizing, reviewing, and testing for security.
-Familiarity with software engineering best practices for the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
-Experience or familiarity with cloud platforms and services, specifically AWS.
-Eagerness and willingness to learn new technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:
-Experience working with ERP systems.
-Familiarity with the Django framework and its concepts.
-Familiarity with the Magento 2 eCommerce platform.
-Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment.
-Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.

Physical Requirements:
-Extended periods of sitting and/or walking (33% - 50% of time).
-Stooping, bending, twisting, leaning (10% - 25% of the time).
-Occasionally lifting up to 40 lbs. (0% - 33% of the time).

Work Environment:
-Hybrid - 3 days onsite w/ some travel required
-Typically inside a climate-controlled office, with occasional movement to manufacturing areas and outdoors.
-May be exposed to manufacturing environments where proper protective equipment (PPE), such as safety glasses or side shields on glasses and closed-toe shoes, is mandatory.
