Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4 FICO Consultant with 12+ years of hands-on SAP FI/CO experience. The ideal candidate will have expertise in core SAP modules, specifically in the areas of financial accounting and controlling. The consultant will be responsible for supporting SAP S/4HANA implementation projects (both Brownfield and Greenfield), integrating with other SAP modules, and offering solutions for business processes such as Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C).
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage SAP FI/CO modules (GL, AR, AP, Asset Accounting, Banking, and Project Systems) across all phases of implementation, from design to post-go-live support.
Provide expertise in SAP S/4 HANA implementation projects (Brownfield, Greenfield) for financial modules.
Collaborate with teams to integrate SAP FI/CO with MM, SD, PM, PP modules.
Implement and support AR Billing, Credit Management, Collections, and Cash Application processes.
Design and configure AP Invoice Automation solutions (preferably using OpenText VIM).
Implement indirect tax automation solutions (Vertex preferred).
Configure Asset Accounting, handling multiple valuations and complex depreciation setups.
Lead SAP FI month-end close activities such as accruals, open item clearing, and depreciation.
Ensure the integration of FI/CO modules with external banking interfaces (e.g., XML payments, bank reconciliation).
Conduct end-user training, define curriculum, and prepare training materials.
Provide production support by addressing system issues, ticket resolution, and enhancing system functionality.
Required Qualifications:
12+ years of SAP FI/CO experience.
In-depth knowledge of FI-GL, AR, AP, Asset Accounting, Banking, and Project Systems modules.
Expertise in Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, including AP Invoice automation, approvals, and payments.
Strong knowledge of Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes, including Billing, Credit Management, and Cash Application.
Expertise in indirect tax automation solutions (preferably Vertex) and asset accounting systems.
Familiarity with month-end close processes and FI/CO cutover activities (FI GL balances, open items).
Hands-on experience with SAP S/4 HANA and Central Finance.
Experience with integration tools such as SAP BPC, and analytics tools like SAP BW and Power BI.
Experience in SAP Project Systems, including approval workflows, capitalization, and settlements.
Consulting experience with large firms (e.g., Accenture, Deloitte, IBM) is highly preferred.
Technical Experience:
SAP P2P and O2C integration.
Experience with SAP FI-AA, SAP MM-IM Inventory Management, SAP S/4 HANA.
Familiarity with SAP BW and reporting tools such as PowerBI.
SAP Bank Accounting and reconciliation processes.
Additional Skills:
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle system issues.
Excellent knowledge of financial processes, inventory management, and cost allocation.
Ability to lead teams, provide training, and deliver project solutions.
