We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position where you will be working within the legal industry, providing a critical service in transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights. You will be working with a team of dedicated professionals, using your skills to influence strategic decision-making processes. Responsibilities:
As a Strategic Data Analyst, you will:
1. Implement data models and effectively communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
2. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI and Tableau, providing data-driven insights to support business decision-making.
3. Work closely with various stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business needs, and provide data solutions.
4. Utilize your data warehouse expertise to manage, organize, and optimize large, complex data sets.
5. Apply your data visualization skills to create clear, compelling presentations that highlight the value and insights derived from the data.
6. Leverage your consulting background or mindset to advise and guide stakeholders on best practices and strategies related to data management and utilization.
7. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure our data strategies remain cutting-edge.
8. Use your retail industry experience to provide unique insights and perspectives on data analysis and strategy.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
1. A bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. A master's degree would be advantageous.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, specifically within data analysis or business intelligence.
3. Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, and other data visualization tools.
4. Strong experience with data modeling and data warehouse.
5. A proven track record in consulting, with excellent problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented mindset.
6. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
7. Experience in the retail industry is preferred but not mandatory.
8. A passion for leveraging data to drive business decisions and strategy.
9. The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
10. A proactive approach to work, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
