STATUS: FULL-TIME

LOCATION: HOLLYWOOD, MD

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly skilled SharePoint Specialist with Database Administration experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and enhancing our SharePoint environment, as well as providing support for database administration and Solidworks PDM tasks as needed.

  • Design, develop, and maintain SharePoint sites, pages, and custom applications to facilitate collaboration and streamline business processes.

  • Configure SharePoint settings and services to meet business needs.

  • Responding to SharePoint service requests; troubleshooting and debugging any SharePoint related issues.

  • Develop workflows and forms using SharePoint Designer and other tools.

  • Manage SharePoint permissions, access control, and security.

  • Collaborate with the IT Manager to integrate SharePoint with other applications and systems.

  • Provide support and training to end-users for SharePoint related issues.

  • Assist with the end-user training, including building training documents, and interacting with employees to provide guidance with SharePoint related tasks.

  • Develop and implement backup and recovery procedures for SharePoint.

  • Assist with database administration tasks such as installation, configuration, and maintenance of SQL Server instances and Solidworks Product Data Management.

  • Monitor and troubleshoot database performance issues.

  • Develop and implement database backup and recovery procedures.

  • Ensure database security and access control.

  • Perform other duties as necessary and/or required.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a minimum of 2 (two) years of experience in SharePoint administration and dev
