Job Overview:
As the Category Manager for SWCORP and ANZZI, you will take ownership of product categories, leading with a digital-first mindset. This role focuses on accelerating our e-commerce presence, optimizing digital strategies, and driving sales through platforms like Amazon, Home Depot, and our own DTC (direct-to-consumer) websites. You will be a key player in shaping our product offerings and go-to-market strategies, ensuring that our customers needs are met and exceeded.
What You'll Do:
E-commerce Growth Leadership:
- Drive end-to-end category strategy to boost e-commerce sales.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to execute winning digital promotions and improve product listings for maximum conversion.
- Shape digital pricing, promotions, and customer acquisition strategies on major platforms.
Market Insights & Trends:
- Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify trends, consumer behavior shifts, and competitive landscapes to influence category decisions.
- Identify gaps in the market and collaborate with product development to bring new, innovative products to life.
Product Lifecycle Management:
- Oversee product introductions and phase-outs, ensuring successful launches in online and offline markets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance product pages with optimized descriptions, imagery, and SEO to boost visibility and sales.
Vendor & Partner Relations:
- Manage vendor relationships, driving negotiations to ensure competitive pricing, superior quality, and timely delivery.
- Partner with suppliers to meet both e-commerce and retail demand, focusing on cost efficiency and margins.
Performance Analytics & Reporting:
- Analyze sales performance, conversion rates, inventory levels, and profit margins.
- Provide insights and actionable recommendations to senior management based on data-driven analysis.
Customer-Centric Product Management:
- Focus on customer satisfaction, optimizing the digital shopping experience by addressing reviews, feedback, and post-purchase engagement.
- Lead strategies that ensure a seamless end-to-end journey, from product discovery to delivery.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with supply chain, sales, and marketing teams to align category strategies with broader business objectives.
- Forecast demand and manage stock levels to meet customer expectations while minimizing excess inventory.
What We're Looking For:
Experience & Expertise:
- Bachelor s degree in Business, E-commerce, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in category management, preferably with a focus on luxury or durable goods in an e-commerce environment.
- Proven ability to drive online growth and manage digital sales strategies on platforms like Amazon, Shopify, and DTC sites.
- Strong background in e-commerce analytics, digital marketing (SEO, PPC), and product optimization.
Skills:
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into strategy.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills for vendor management.
- Proficiency in category management tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and e-commerce software platforms.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, digital-first environment, managing multiple projects with competing priorities.
