Python Programmer

Description

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Python Programmer. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining ETL pipelines, as well as using Python and SQL to support data warehouse initiatives. This role involves remote work, with a requirement to operate within the relevant time zone.
Responsibilities include:
Developing and maintaining ETL pipelines as part of our data engineering strategy Utilizing Python and SQL in various capacities to support data warehouse initiatives Operating within the Agile Scrum framework to deliver projects efficiently Assisting in the development and maintenance of our Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Warehousing (BI DW) systems Ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of Python scripts Utilizing Microsoft SQL Server for various data handling tasks Collaborating with the team to ensure all data engineering tasks align with the overall business strategy Adapting to a remote work environment and operating within the required time zone Continuously learning and improving Python and SQL skills to maintain an up-to-date knowledge base.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years' experience in Python programming
Proficiency in Python scripting
Experience with Agile Scrum methodology
Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft SQL Server
Knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Warehousing (BI DW)
Understanding of Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing
Ability to work in a high-tech engineering environment
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is a plus
Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated with industry trends and advancements
Strong multitasking skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
