Job Description
Summary: Seeking a Coatings Engineer to lead and optimize manufacturing processes, ensuring innovation, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or related field
Proficiency in SolidWorks, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel
Background in painting, coating, welding, assembly, and automation
Experience with surface preparation techniques (e.g., sandblasting, chemical treatments)
Familiarity with coating application equipment (e.g., spray guns, rollers)
Proficiency in quality control processes for coatings
Strong understanding of GD&T and engineering drawings
Minimum of ten (10) years of manufacturing-related experience
Preferred Skills:
Effective time management skills to achieve goals and objectives
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Job Responsibilities:
Lead Manufacturing Process Development: Own and optimize manufacturing processes from design through to production launch.
Design and Optimization: Design workflows and production cells; develop tooling and manufacturing equipment.
Ensure Compliance: Maintain compliance with industry standards such as AS9100.
Enhance Production Performance: Implement data-driven improvements for production control, safety, and quality metrics.
Drive Continuous Improvement: Utilize six sigma techniques to enhance capabilities and product quality.
Build Reputation: Uphold integrity in all work; collaborate effectively with customers.
Pay Details: $100,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year
