Enterprise Data Center Engineer

Job Summary/Company: A Sparks Group client is seeking a Network Engineer (Security RADIUS Engineer) to design, implement, and troubleshoot the VA's RADIUS systems with a focus on security. The role requires expertise in Cisco security, automation, and enterprise-level RADIUS operations, with the option to work remotely.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and troubleshoot RADIUS systems with a focus on security across VA-owned and leased spaces.
• Lead security enhancements, IPv6 transitions, and automation projects for network infrastructure.
• Collaborate with customer teams to create design documentation and support security initiatives.

Qualifications/Background Profile:

• Expertise in Cisco security, Palo Alto Networks, and RADIUS system operations.
• CCIE Security Certification and 15 years of experience in network security engineering.
• Proficiency in automation, 802.1X authentication, and troubleshooting enterprise RADIUS environments.
• Position requires ship and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
