General Responsibilities:

The Product Manager is responsible for developing the vision and product roadmap(s) for Aerospace Solenoids & Valves (M1) and Flame Arrestors through the product lifecycle. Will work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, sales, project leads, manufacturing, purchasing and finance to ensure projects and company objectives are met.

The Product Manager should possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision with the drive to make that vision a reality. Integrity, sense of ownership and accountability for the outcome of projects and initiatives will assure results. Time in the market to understand customers and challenges is necessary to steer product teams towards innovative solutions for the broader market.

Specific Duties:

Product Development

  • Define the product strategy, roadmap and leverage platform opportunities to align with market trends, opportunities and key customer needs.
  • Work with team to create and present business cases for new product development
  • Specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and potential customers.
  • Work with team developing and implementing go-to-market plans, work with all departments to execute.
  • Ensures that product and marketing efforts support the company s overall strategy and goals.
  • Deliver Marketing Requirements Documentations (MRD s) and Product Requirements Documents (PRD s) with prioritized features and corresponding justification
  • Manages the entire product line life cycle
  • Be an expert with respect to the competition
  • Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product

Finance

  • Propose an overall budget to ensure success
  • Set pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals
  • Support monthly revenue forecast
  • Responsible for product P & L

Leadership & Mentoring

  • Leads by example and with respect while demonstrating passion for delivering high quality work that achieves customer and business goals
  • Is a leader within the company
  • Brief and train the sales force at quarterly sales meetings (as needed)
  • Coordinate the company strategic marketing policies and programs

Manager

  • Manages resources across lines of business and within corporate budget targets
  • Ensures that core business processes for example; time to market, integrated supply chain, and sales and customer service are in place and working effectively.
  • Maintain an organized work space
  • Increase profitability
  • Key Contributor to Strategic planning process

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in business or Engineering. A technical background preferred
  • Project Management Skills, Problem Solving & Analytical thinking skills
  • Ability to build trust by being open and transparent, considering the needs and perspective of others, focusing on larger company/customer goals and demonstrating results
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
  • Solid business acumen, management and marketing communication skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to travel (domestic and internationally)

Compensation: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 annual base salary based experience
