Job Description

We are seeking a Technical Writer II to become an integral part of our team at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center in Oklahoma City! This position will create technical documentation, including user documentation, how-to guides, integration guides, computer systems operation guides, and product specifications that increase the experience for the digital platform. They work with other technical experts, such as engineers and software developers, to ensure that the information they provide is accurate and easy to understand.

Specific Technical Skills Required:

  • Designing, developing and maintaining information system(s) that utilizes Services Oriented Architecture (SOA).
  • Ensuring that project and agency standards are addressed, including various industry standard, such as ISO 20000 and/or ISO 9000:2001.
  • Knowledge and experience with a variety of operating systems, web browsers, and miscellaneous software tools to include but are not limited to: Visual Studio, Net Framework, ASP.Net MVC, SQL Server, SQL Server Management Studio, Telerik UI for ASP, Syncfusion, Hangfire, Business Objects, MSTest, Jquery, Entity framework, Elmah, Telerik Justmock, Renci SSH.Net, NewtonSoft JSON.NET, and Microsoft Azure DevOps.

Education:

  • Bachelor s Degree
