CLYNK is a circular economy solutions provider. We make it easy for retailers, brands, redemption operators and everyday people to do the right thing through our consumer-centric bag-drop technology solutions. We are the fastest growing mode of beverage container recycling and the most requested option by consumers. At the same time, we are reducing the typical friction experienced by other recycling stakeholders which reinforces the ecosystem and adoption. Our technology supports recycling at scale across an entire ecosystem including states with Deposit Recovery Systems (aka Bottle Bills) and Producer Responsibility Organizations or Brands who enable customers to recycle with convenient solutions.

Summary:

CLYNK is seeking an experienced Technical Product Manager to join our team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business, technology, and user needs, working closely with engineering, design, and stakeholders to deliver innovative products. Your technical expertise, product insight, and strategic mindset will help shape the future of our products and improve customer experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop product roadmaps and set feature priorities in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Define product requirements and create user stories, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business goals.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to manage the development process, remove obstacles, and deliver on time.
  • Conduct market research, gather user feedback, and use data-driven insights to improve product strategy.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, facilitating communication between engineering, design, marketing, and support teams.
  • Monitor key performance metrics to identify areas of improvement and measure product success.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer, ensuring customer needs are at the core of all product decisions.
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog, balancing new features, technical debt, and maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager, preferably in a technical environment.
  • Strong technical background or experience working closely with engineering teams.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and lead product development efforts.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and familiarity with tools like Jira, Trello, or similar.
  • Ability to analyze data and metrics to inform decision-making.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in software development, cloud computing, or similar technical domains.
  • Proven commercial experience with marketplace and consumer facing application ecosystems
  • Familiarity with APIs, databases, and system architecture.
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and experience collaborating with design teams.
  • Physical requirements: must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time
  • Schedule: this is an exempt, salaried position expected to work 40 hours per week; additional hours may be necessary outside of normal business hours according to business demands.
  • Travel: occasional travel depending on the business development needs; anticipated travel up to 15%.
