Job Description:
We're looking for a Field Quality Engineer to help support and enhance our Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process. This role involves coordinating product returns, managing requests, and working closely with customers and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle and manage RMA requests from customers.
Work with internal departments and third-party suppliers to ensure RMA procedures are completed on time.
Support and improve our existing RMA processes to make them more efficient and reduce processing time.
Prepare reports and analyze data to track the effectiveness of the RMA process.
Ensure that all corporate and regulatory requirements are met within the RMA process.
Minimum Requirements:
5 years experience in a customer facing role of any kind.
Basic understanding of RMA processes and product return principles is a must.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a multitasking environment, across multiple groups at AMD.
High attention to detail and ability to manage large amounts of data.
Experience with Windows, Microsoft Office, and web portals (e.g., Salesforce, Jira).
Experience with Python is a plus.
Recommended Skills:
Experience in any customer facing role.
Experience with data management and process automation systems.
Analytical thinking and ability to suggest improvements.
Good knowledge of Linux, Python, and SQL.
