Project Description | Ongoing need. Designs, develops, modifies and evaluates electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment, or other hardware systems and/or electrical engineering applications. Determines design approaches and parameters. Analyzes equipment to establish operating data, conducts experimental tests and evaluates results. Selects components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability. May also review vendor capability to support product development. |
Duties/Day to Day Overview | What you will do KEY Circuit knowledge and electrical background. o Core fundamentals in circuits, PCB Design, layouts, and cable design. o Be able to understand and interface with all of those parts of the system. o Work with power distribution. o Focus on strong circuits and PCB design. Both design side for obsolete parts, identify alternate, test, and do documentation updates. o 280V and different levels of distribution. o NOT looking for digital design - Generally dealing with parts that come from suppliers for obsolescence.
- In particular for this role, having to find an alternative proposed part, test it, and verify that it works.
- Need exp for Electrical Engineering on boards background working with parts such as capacitors, harnesses, etc.
- Cable design, redlines for cables.
- Cable harness design
- AC/DC Power Distribution, 280V and different levels of distribution.

Top Requirements (Must haves) | Must Haves: - Key Someone who has worked on PCB Design from an Electrical Engineering Perspective. Not just a PCB designer.
- Good general systems fundamentals PCB, cabling, power distribution.
- VEE is NOT required.
- Really wants strong communication and presentation skills. Often times have to work in team environment and provide updates to Alecia.
- Ability to explain things on the resume and explain in technical sense also explain problem solving process/thoughts.
- If given a problem be able to problem solve and work independently. Issues will come up to be self-directed, figure out issues, and communicate to the team and Alecia.
- NEED GREAT EXP with Cabling and PCB board, and documentation systems.
- What kind of PCB exp do they ACTUALLY have should be outlined on resume.
- Same for cable exp not a drafting role.
