Position: Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Finance

Office/Department: Accounting & Finance

Grove City College invites applications for a full-time finance faculty position in the Department of Accounting & Finance beginning in January (preferably) or July 2025. This position will teach principles of finance as a part of the departmental team and upper-level finance classes each semester. The ideal candidate will demonstrate both effectiveness in teaching and will have prior professional experience in the field of finance. Candidates with the ability to teach a variety of finance courses and with a broad range of experience will be given preferred consideration. A Ph.D. or D.B.A. in Finance is preferred, and a master’s degree along with professional certification (such as CPA, CFA or CFP) is the minimum qualification required to apply. (A J.D. along with a professional certification and finance experience will also be considered.) Salary will be commensurate with qualifications.

Grove City College’s School of Business is accredited by ACBSP and includes four separate academic departments: Accounting and Finance, Economics, Entrepreneurship, and Management and Marketing. The School of Business houses three master’s programs, twelve undergraduate major programs of study, twenty minors, twenty-four faculty, and approximately 480 students. GCC finance students pursue a variety of career opportunities in banking, wealth management, and corporate finance, and they often prepare for the CFA, CFP, and other professional examinations to fulfill requirements to become investment advisors.
