Job Summary:
The SAP MM ECC and Logistics Execution Consultant will be responsible for managing and optimizing materials management and logistics execution processes within an SAP ECC environment. This role involves configuring SAP MM and LE modules, supporting end-users, enhancing system performance, and ensuring efficient supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics coordination.

Key Responsibilities:
SAP MM (Materials Management):

Implement and configure the SAP MM module to support procurement, inventory management, vendor management, and material master data.
Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and goods receipt/invoice verification.
Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability and minimize stockouts or overstock situations.
Coordinate with other departments to support their material requirements and ensure smooth operations.
Perform material valuation and manage price changes, material costing, and stock transfers.
SAP LE (Logistics Execution):

Design, configure, and implement logistics processes such as inbound and outbound delivery, transportation, and shipping.
Integrate SAP LE with warehouse management systems (WM) and third-party logistics providers.
Optimize shipment planning, goods issue, and goods receipt processes.
Support the configuration of transport management, including freight costing and carrier selection.
Maintain compliance with regulatory and customs requirements, including
implementation of SAP Logistics Execution (LE) processes to streamline the management of warehousing, transportation, and distribution activities.

Configure SAP LE for warehouse management, including inbound and outbound logistics, stock movements, and storage strategies.
Develop and manage transportation planning, shipment scheduling, and freight management processes.
Integrate SAP LE with other modules such as SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) and SAP WM (Warehouse Management) to ensure seamless logistics operations.
Ensure compliance with customs regulations and international shipping procedures when handling global logistics.
System Configuration and Customization:

Analyze business requirements and design solutions within the SAP MM and LE modules.
Configure SAP ECC to optimize procurement, inventory, and logistics processes.
Provide technical specifications for custom developments, including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF).
Collaborate with ABAP developers to implement customizations and troubleshoot any technical issues.
Business Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities to enhance existing business processes and implement best practices in materials management and logistics execution.
Work closely with cross-functional teams (such as finance, production, and sales) to ensure integrated and efficient business processes.
Provide training and support to end-users to ensure successful adoption of new processes and systems.
Support and Troubleshooting:

Serve as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving issues related to SAP MM and LE modules.
Perform root cause analysis for system issues and recommend long-term solutions.
Monitor system performance and perform regular system checks to ensure continuous availability and accuracy.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
5+ years of experience working with SAP MM and LE modules in an SAP ECC environment.
Strong knowledge of materials management, procurement, and logistics processes.
Hands-on experience in configuring SAP MM (material master, procurement, inventory management) and LE (transportation, warehouse management).
Experience with SAP ECC integration to other modules (SD, PP, FI/CO, WM).
Proficiency in SAP implementation methodologies (ASAP or Agile).
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex SAP issues.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with SAP ECC
SAP certification in MM or LE.
Familiarity with EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) and third-party logistics provider integrations.
Knowledge of supply chain best practices and emerging trends.
