Job Description: Citrix SME
We are seeking an experienced Citrix Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team remotely. In this role, you will provide advanced technical expertise and support for our Citrix environments, ensuring optimal performance and availability of virtual applications and desktops. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain Citrix solutions that meet the needs of our organization and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Citrix-related inquiries, providing expert guidance and troubleshooting assistance to end-users and IT staff.
  • Design, implement, and optimize Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and resolve complex technical issues related to Citrix infrastructure and applications.
  • Collaborate with security teams to ensure that Citrix solutions adhere to best practices and compliance standards.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for Citrix configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Provide training and knowledge transfer to IT support staff and users on Citrix functionalities and best practices.
  • Stay current with the latest Citrix technologies and trends, recommending upgrades or changes as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Extensive experience with Citrix technologies, including Citrix Virtual Apps, Citrix Virtual Desktops, and Citrix Client (NetScaler).
  • Strong understanding of networking principles, server architecture, and virtualization concepts.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Citrix certifications (e.g., CCA, CCP) are a plus.
