Accenture Federal Services (AFS) is looking for Cloud Software Developer (FinOps) to leverage their expertise to support a DoD client's cloud transformation efforts. As a Cloud Software Developer (FinOps) you will leverage your cloud operations expertise to implement FinOps best practices and ensure enterprise resource allocation is optimized. You will work alongside your team and key stakeholders to understand cloud usage, optimize cloud usage and cost, and to quantify business value. Also, you will be responsible for championing product design and operational changes to optimize platform costs and improve efficiencies in response to cloud FinOps data.
Here's what you need:
- Minimum 3 years software development experience with programming, scripting, or markup languages, that may include golang, Java, JavaScript, Bash, Ansible, Puppet, Salt, Python, C, C++, C#, XML, JSON, or YAML.
- Experience with provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of software and infrastructure-as-code in a DevSecOps and continuous delivery environment using tools such as terraform
- Minimum 1 years experience with Amazon Web Services
- Minimum 1 years experience with container technologies/software such as Kubernetes.
- Minimum 1 years experience with Linux operating systems, command-line interfaces, network technologies
- Bachelor Degree in Information Technology or related area of study or 6 years of experience working with IT systems may substitute for academic degree
- Active Top Secret clearance, SCI eligibility
Bonus points if you have:
- FinOps Certifications such as Certified FinOps Practitioner Certification
- DoD Directive 8570 or 8140 Series IAT Level II Certification
- Cloud Computing Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert Certification
Security Clearance:
- Active Top Secret w/ SCI eligibility Government security clearance is required
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
