Job Title: Sr. Systems Analyst (Energy or Grid Market Systems)

Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Utility/Energy Industry: 5+ years of integration and experience in the utility/energy sector, particularly with EMS/SCADA systems.
- Technical Skills:
- Experience installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining EMS systems and SCADA applications.
- Hands-on experience with GE EMS suite is preferred, but expertise in other EMS vendors is also acceptable.
- Knowledge of RDBMS (Oracle/SQL DB) and system administration on Linux/Windows operating systems.
- Familiarity with ICCP (Inter Control-Center Communication Protocol) and real-time grid operations.
Core Responsibilities:
- EMS System Support: Provide system administration, maintenance, and technical support for the EMS and related applications, ensuring uptime and system reliability.
- Integration & Testing: Perform EMS application integration, structured and unstructured testing, and log defects. You will collaborate with vendors and internal teams to address and resolve system defects.
- Database Management: Perform database updates and upgrades within the EMS environments and ensure smooth execution of code builds, patches, and system migrations.
- Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Regularly monitor the EMS systems, troubleshoot issues, and handle system failures and emergency recoveries.
- Documentation & Reporting: Prepare and review technical documentation to ensure effective use and administration of EMS.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Participate in Disaster Recovery Drills.
- Support the business units during EMS testing cycles.
- Respond to operator questions and support market participants as needed.
- Maintain real-time data collection to support critical EMS functions and resolve design problems.
