Job Title: IBM Maximo MAS8/9 Administrator & Practice leader
Location: Candidate should be located near Jacksonville, Dallas, Atlanta (100%Remote )
Position: Full-Time
Experience Required: 10+ years
Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain the IBM Maximo Application Suite system, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Provide support for Maximo users, addressing and resolving system-related issues promptly.
- Assist with system upgrades, patches, and enhancements to keep the system current and functional.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation and procedures.
- Perform data imports, exports, and configure the system as required.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to understand requirements and implement effective solutions.
- Monitor system performance, optimize configurations for efficiency, and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Define and execute the strategic vision for the IBM Maximo EAM practice, aligning with the company s overall goals.
- Lead the development and enhancement of Maximo EAM service offerings to meet market demand and client needs.
- Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience in Maximo Configuration and Customization.
- Experience with Maximo Upgrade projects and familiarity with Maximo IT & Utilities.
- Proficient in Maximo Administration skills, including WebSphere app server.
- Knowledge of IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS8) and RedHat OpenShift.
- Proven experience as a Maximo Application Administrator, providing technical assistance and guidance on complex system implementations.
- Skills in Maximo Integration with external systems/interfaces.
- Experience with Maximo Configuration Migration using Migration Manager (preferred).
- Customer-facing experience and support roles (preferred).
- Exposure to Maximo Performance optimizations and troubleshooting (preferred).
- Working experience with one or more IBM MAS Offerings (MAS Manage, CP4D, Monitor, Health, Predict, MVI).
- Experience with RedHat operating systems.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies such as IBM Cloud, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and AWS.
- Knowledge of IBM Maximo Application Suite installation processes.
- Experience with SSO, LDAP, and SAML configurations.
- Proficiency in databases such as IBM DB2, MySQL, and Oracle.
- Ability to collaborate with consultants and subject matter experts across internal and external teams.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, building and maintaining strong relationships with Maximo Application Suite users.
- Lead client discussions, presentations, and workshops to understand their needs and provide tailored Maximo solutions.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through proactive communication and problem-solving.
- Experience with project management, client interactions, proposal writing, and providing architectural solutions based on customer expectations.
- Involvement in pre-sales activities and creating business opportunities.
Additional Requirements:
- Flexibility to provide 24x7 support and work in shifts as needed.
Preferred Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with Kubernetes/OpenShift and cloud technologies.
Skill Set:
- MAS8, Maximo 7.x/EAM, Maximo Integration Framework (WIF), OpenShift Administration, WebSphere Middleware tool.
- Experience with Oracle, MySQL, and DB2 databases.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies such as Google Cloud Platform, IBM Cloud, Azure, and AWS.
