The client is Implementing Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Customer Service Module and is interested in procuring the services of a consulting Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Power Platform Developer to support and enhance this application on an ongoing basis.
Responsibilities
The candidate will gather functional and non-functional requirements; define, design and develop solutions utilizing the Microsoft Dynamics CRM configuration tools and/or Power Platform development tools like Power App and Power Automate. The incumbent will work closely with City s internal IT staff (including web developers and UI/UX) and key stakeholders from business units
Qualifications and Experience
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, related field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in configuring Microsoft Dynamics CRM module and developing custom Power Platform solutions using tools like Power App and Power Automate.
- Experience with integration business applications with Microsoft Dynamics CRM would be a definite asset.
Must Have Technical Skills
- Proven experience in configuring Microsoft Dynamics CRM Customer Service module.
- Manage Cases, Knowledge Management, Entitlements, SLAs, Analytics and Insights.
- Implement Scheduling, Multi-session experience for Customer Service, Routing and Connected Customer Services
Highly Desirable Technical Skills
- Power Platform Development: Develop canvas apps, model-driven apps and cards; create tables, columns, views and triggers in Dataverse. Develop automated, instant, scheduled, UI and business process flows in Power Automate. Forms, charts and dashboards; role-based security and PowerShell
Desirable Technical Skills
- SharePoint Development: Global, Hub and Local navigations. Web Parts, document libraries, lists, permissions, and social networking features. Integrations with Power App, Power Automate, Power Bl, Excel, Outlook, M365 etc.
Interpersonal and Communication Skills
- Ability to listen well and communicate thoughtfully to a wide range of stakeholders, from senior management in IT and business to data entry personnel
- Strong written communication, documentation and presentation skills
- Good taste in visual design is important
- Ability to solve complex and ambiguous technical problems using experience, creativity, and sound judgment
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently
- Demonstrated understanding of agile and waterfall implementation methodologies
- Proven track record of delivering assignments within agreed upon timeframes
Key Responsibilities/Deliverables:
- Produce weekly status reports, broken down into daily number of hours worked and by tasks, using the City's time tracking system.
- The reports must include reporting on work accomplished during the period and work planned for the next period.
- These will be printed, signed as being correct, and submitted to the City by the Consultant. Communicate assignment status in a timely and clear fashion to the appropriate member of the Senior Management of the IT Department and other City management, staff and other contractors or consultants involved in related IT assignments, as appropriate to the specific assignment.
- Provide weekly updates on deliverables and impact of proposed changes to timelines.
- Provide formal documentation, in accordance with the City's PMO methodologies and documentation standards.
- Provide mentoring and knowledge transfer to City staff on system set up, configuration and support requirements.
