The Hiring Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating the recruitment process, from job posting to onboarding. This role involves collaborating with department managers to understand hiring needs, sourcing and screening candidates, and ensuring a smooth hiring process. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, a keen eye for talent, and a passion for fostering a positive candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with department managers to draft and post job descriptions on various platforms.
  • Utilize multiple sourcing techniques, including online job boards, social media, and networking events, to attract potential candidates.
  • Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
  • Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidate suitability.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers and interview panels.
  • Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Provide timely feedback to candidates and ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Organize and maintain accurate records of candidate interactions and recruitment activities.
  • Prepare and distribute interview schedules, assessment materials, and follow-up documents.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of recruitment strategies and initiatives.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing offer letters, conducting background checks, and coordinating orientation sessions.
  • Ensure new employees have access to necessary resources and information for a successful start.
  • Track and report on key recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate satisfaction.
  • Analyze recruitment data to identify trends and areas for improvement.


Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a Hiring Coordinator, Recruitment Specialist, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment processes and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.


Working Conditions

  • This position is based in a manufacturing plant environment.
