Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Consultant with expertise in SQL to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide in-depth data analysis, insights, and recommendations to optimize business processes. You will be responsible for designing, executing, and optimizing complex SQL queries to extract meaningful information from large datasets and help organizations make data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Develop and execute advanced SQL queries to analyze, interpret, and extract large datasets from databases.
  • Perform data mining and extraction to create meaningful insights and visualizations for stakeholders.
  • Generate regular reports, dashboards, and ad hoc analyses to inform business decisions.

Database Management:

  • Optimize SQL queries for performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with database administrators to ensure data integrity, security, and performance.
  • Maintain and document data models, query structures, and reporting tools.

Consultation & Insights:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and deliver customized data analytics solutions.
  • Present findings, data trends, and actionable insights to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to improve business processes, marketing strategies, and operational efficiency.

Automation & Process Improvement:

  • Automate recurring data processes and reporting tasks using SQL and other data tools.
  • Design and implement scalable data models for ongoing analysis and reporting needs.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, and database management.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience in writing complex queries for data analysis.
  • Experience working with large datasets, relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server), and data warehousing solutions.
  • Familiarity with ETL processes, data pipelines, and automation tools.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a consulting or client-facing role.
  • Familiarity with other programming languages (e.g., Python, R) for data analysis.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and data lakes.
