Roles Responsibilities

  • Designing implementing and improving the efficiency of current network environment should posses customer facing skills and lead the team Customer interactions for network related incidents and should posses good problem solving skill
  • Installing configuring and supporting network equipment including routers switches Meraki SD WAN devices DNS DHCP Wireless Controllers
  • Configuring firewall rules routing and switching to maximize network efficiency and enhanced security
  • Daily operational issues their troubleshooting
  • Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Arranging scheduled upgrades
  • Investigating faults in the network
  • Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases
  • Reporting network status to key stakeholders
  • Provide Level 2 3 support and troubleshooting to resolve major complex issues
  • Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
  • Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
  • Job Requirements and skills
  • Experience 8 years in Core networking
  • Proven experience in a network administrator role
  • Hands on experience in networking routing and switching of Legacy Nexus Meraki devices Nexus ACI added advantage
  • Excellent knowledge of best practices around network management control and monitoring of DC server infrastructure
  • Expertise in networking protocols
  • Experience with firewalls Internet VPNs remote implementation troubleshooting and problem resolution is desired
  • Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies
  • Great at organizing prioritizing and multitasking
