Position: Project Manager

Duration: 1 Year Approx.

Location: Onsite - Providence, RI - 02908

Reporting to the OHA Performance Manager and working in close partnership with OHA Elder Rights and Safety staff, the Program and System Project Manager responsible for supporting OHA staff and older Rhode Islanders by promoting the goals and priorities of OHA within interagency system transformation meetings and supporting the continuous improvement of various Elder Rights and Safety and Case Management OHA programs and their managers.

System Enhancement Manager Tasks

  • Being the liaison and translator for all operational goals with technical vendors and interagency groups: conveying operational needs in technical meetings sessions that will assist vendors designing integrated solutions. Keeping the business goals in mind and confirming the technical solution will met or exceed defined requirements.
  • Create and/or enhance technical process mapping definition as it applies to both business operation and technical design. Making connections between both to support OHA staff.
  • Create and present program and project updates to varying state agency audiences when needed. Must have a strong ability to comprehend and explain complex situations an Executive level.
  • Participate in interagency LTSS redesign meetings to relate redesign to program leads.
  • Participate in LTSS workgroup performance measures.
  • Development and testing of Quality Assurance processes regarding performance measures for compliance with state and federal requirements.
  • Identifying systematic data elements for purposes of compliance with federal reporting, e.g., the National Adult Maltreatment Reporting System (NAMRS) and the Home & Community Based (HCBS) Quality Performance Measures.
  • Liaison to other state agencies with respect to quality measures and reporting as they relate to OHA APS and HCBS programs.

Program Manager Tasks

  • Executing best practice Program management and project alignment fundamentals. Supporting and facilitating both internal and interagency solutioning sessions. Driving the creation and delivery of all OHA related deliverables for interagency technical scope.
  • Partner with OHA Performance Manager to develop continuous improvement techniques, including identifying and tracking of Key Performance Indicators.
  • Design reporting templates to be shared with program and outside vendors, train them to use the templates and how to report to OHA on the information.
  • Understand multiple programs and data systems and support staff and vendors with connecting program and data system s needs.

This is a one-year ARPA grant-funded position that is contingent upon the existence and availability of external funding.

Essential Functions / Tasks

  • Represent OHA state agency meetings related to system design, build, M&O meetings of LTSS Modernization, Critical Incidents, etc.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives with internal OHA groups.
  • Develop internal data collection and reporting measures including Key Performance Indicators and required federal reporting.

Additional Functions

  • Participate in OHA staff trainings.
  • Respect and maintain confidentiality, professional protocols, and individual privacy.
  • Attend community and state agency meetings as assigned
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Strong Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Visio, MS Project skills
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Wellsky products preferred but not necessary
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfort with data review, using data to inform program improvement, and communicating data to non-technical team members
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, multi-task, possess good judgment, and work independently and as part of a team.

Compensation

Compensation for roles at Beacon Systems Inc depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, BeaconGov provides reasonable range of compensation for this role.
