Reporting to the IT Director, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the cybersecurity infrastructure for the organization, including security systems management, incident response, threat analysis, and ensuring compliance with security policies and regulations. Collaborate across the organization to protect the corporate assets and data, while working closely with other security professionals to maintain a robust security posture.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, implement, and manage firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and endpoint protection.
  • Monitor and analyze security events, incidents, network traffic, and logs using SIEM tools.
  • Investigate and resolve security breaches, vulnerabilities, and other incidents.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and scans, report findings and recommend appropriate remediation measures.
  • Perform threat analysis and recommend appropriate remediation measures.
  • Manage and configure Palo Alto firewalls, Nessus vulnerability scanning, and Azure, AWS, and Oracle cloud platforms.
  • Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, standards, and best practices.
  • Develop and execute incident response plans.
  • Conduct system audits and compliance checks to verify compliance with industry standards and regulations such as NIST, CIS, ISO, and SOX.
  • Stay current on cybersecurity trends, emerging threats to enhance security measures.

BACKGROUND

  • Solid experience in cybersecurity engineering and analysis with in-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors
  • Strong knowledge of security monitoring and incident response procedures.
  • Expertise in using, managing, and maintaining security tools and software (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS).
  • Strong experience analyzing security alerts, logs, network traffic, and conducting vulnerability assessments and scans
  • Advanced knowledge of network security and firewalls with knowledge of current cybersecurity threats and trends.
  • Experience implementing security controls and ensuring compliance requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of security principles, frameworks, and standards such as NIST, ISO, SOX, and regulatory requirements
