  • Administer, configure & support Cloud Database services (Snowflake).
  • Administer, configure & support Data Platform services, Informatica Cloud (IICS), Tableau, Cognos, SAS, GitHub and MOVEit MFT.
  • Design, implement & support cloud applications and AWS services.
  • Install and configure software on AWS cloud services.
  • Administer and manage internal and external requests for data applications access and permissions, while supporting data security and protection.
  • Defines and implements data security policies, authentication, and authorization mechanisms for cloud-based platforms.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to design and implement highly scalable, highly available, and highly performant cloud data solutions.
  • Evaluates and recommends new cloud products and services for efficient data storage and processing.
  • Monitors the performance of cloud data services and strategizes optimization measures.
  • Implements data management and data governance processes for cloud data.
  • Establish regular overall system performance assessment processes and action plans.
  • Provide excellent customer service (email, telephone, and written correspondence) to all internal and external customers.
  • Ensure timely delivery of solutions meeting requirements and expectations

QUALIFCATIONS:

  • 3-5 years of experience in implementing and supporting Cloud-based (AWS) data solutions.
  • 5+ years of Cloud database platform experience such as Snowflake.
  • 3+ years in Cloud Data services such as IICS, AWS and GitHub.
  • 5+ years of experience in Database administration and Data Warehouse applications on AWS.
  • Minimum two years of experience with installing and configuring applications using Cloud Technologies (AWS, MS Azure etc.)
  • Knowledge of cloud network policies and the firewall rules
  • Experienced in SQL skills and PL/SQL skills.
  • Experience in Linux shell scripting, user security and server administration.
  • Experience in data security protocol using encryption and decryption methodologies.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Experience working with highly sensitive health care information and familiar with HIPAA and other data privacy controls.

Preferred experience/skills:

  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) Certification
  • Snowflake certification
