Job Description:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer science or equivalent, with minimum 10+ Years of relevant experience.
  • You should be A CommVault Engineer is responsible for maintaining, supporting, and optimizing data backup and recovery solutions.
  • Good experience in CommVault network gateway setup
  • Must have Experience in Designing, developing, and configuring the CommVault software, managing backups, and restoring data, analyzing system performance, and recommending improvements when needed.
  • You should be Developing backup and storage management strategies, troubleshooting and resolving systems issues, creating and maintaining system documentation, and providing technical support.
  • Strong Experience with virtualization technologies (VMWare, Hyper-V, etc.), and experience with storage technologies (SAN, NAS, etc.). The engineer should also have strong communication skills and be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • You should Manage backup infrastructure for a based client, as CommVault is the primary backup application for the entire client (on all platforms).
  • Must Restored the user data (SQL & Oracle database/VM/File servers restores) as per the user request from the tapes within the retention period and from outside the retention period.
  • You should Install various Media agents for various servers, adding new clients for the CommVault environment.
  • Good Experience to Configure SQL Database for Backup.
  • Must Configure Commserver, Media agent, Client & database data agent, and Library's Library Management, maintaining Scratch Volumes and Log Monitoring daily.
  • You must Perform health checks of the data protection application and infrastructure environments.
  • Capability to upgrade CommVault software across different versions and regular patching of the CommVault environment.
  • Good knowledge on the HP Storeonce and HP Nimble Storage array.
  • Collaborate with Team members, Support, Dev, QA, and Field teams to diagnose and solve complex customer issues and orchestrate development and testing of patches/hotfixes.
  • Perform in-depth root cause analysis, implement code fixes to resolve product defects/issues to customers.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and grow teams
