Job Summary:

The position will focus on research in genomics and epigenetics of multiple myeloma and related plasma cell dyscrasias. The incumbent in this position will work closely with the Chief of Myeloma and Director of the SCCC Myeloma Institute and will be a key member of myeloma-focused translational grant applications, including development of multi-Pl RO1 grants funded research. Also, together with the Chief of Myeloma and Director of the SCCC Myeloma Institute, the position will focus on developing larger grants (such as PO1, SPORE and SCOR) within UM and in collaboration with other institutions with the goal of further strengthening the myeloma program at UM. Also, the work will include patient derived xenografts to model response to defined treatments. The job includes collaboration with other clinical- and lab-based-investigators.
