Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee complex project in our organization. The ideal candidate will have 15-20 years of experience managing large-scale projects, with a proven track record of delivering results on time and within budget. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring effective communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle, and take responsibility for delivering project to customer.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of a project from inception to completion.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that align with business objectives.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans and timelines.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure project alignment and timely delivery.
• Ensure the successful delivery of a project to customer, meeting their requirements and expectations.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and outcomes.
• Monitor project progress, track milestones, and prepare regular status reports for stakeholders.
• Facilitate project meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among team members.
• Manage project resources, including team members, budgets, and timelines.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and best practices in project management methodologies.
• Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members.
  
  

Technical Background

The successful candidate will have experience or familiarity with the following technologies, which are integral to our current project:

• Python: For developing backend components, including APIs and data processing scripts.
• Mimir: For scalable time-series data storage and retrieval.
• Prometheus: For monitoring and alerting systems, with an emphasis on integration and performance metrics.
• Redfish API: For managing hardware servers and gathering metrics in a standardized manner.
• Grafana: For data visualization and dashboard creation, enabling stakeholders to interpret data insights effectively.
• Cloud Technologies: Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) for deployment and scalability considerations.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
• 15-20 years of experience in project management.
• Proven track record of managing complex projects with a focus on achieving business outcomes.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
