Lead Business System Analyst

• Work with Lead Solution Architect to forward engineer .NET applications for modernization.
• Schedule and facilitate Requirement Elicitation sessions with Internal/External resources and IT teams to convey the Business need and to identify gaps, impacts and requirements for each impacted area.
• Analyze and interpret Functional and Non-Functional requirements and impacts using information provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Apply mathematical concepts to practical situations.
• Create and manage Business Requirement collateral relevant to each SDLC stage.
• Create collateral such as reference docs, user guides, etc. in support of the products and solutions
• Document functional requirements and determine complexity of work for applicable projects
• Formulate and define Business Requirements & Use Cases
• Work with cross-functional client stakeholders.
• Research, gather, articulate, refine and document business/technical requirements
• Work with TSQL, SQL and Office Tools to create business requested data / reports
• Act as a liaison between Developers, Operations, and Product Management
• Prepare Help/Support Documentation

Required:

• 7+ years of experience in business or systems analysis, including involvement in large, complex software modernization efforts.
• Required management consulting experience and previous work as a business analyst in a financial software or service development company.
• Strong SQL skills, with the ability to write complex queries (SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY, HAVING) and effectively manipulate data.
• Proficient in tools such as JIRA, Tableau, Confluence, Clarity, and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Experience in large modernization and transformation projects, with strong technical knowledge in software development.
• Proficient in data profiling techniques to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in large datasets.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with globally dispersed teams.

Desired:

• 5+ years of experience in the Financial Services Industry preferred

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Computer Science Degree

• Prolonged periods of remaining stationary at a desk and working on a computer
