As a Frontend Software Engineer at Hexure, you'll design, develop, and implement responsive, React-based user interfaces for our innovative suite of Insurance Industry software applications supporting the entire workflow of Quoting, Illustrations, Application and Signing for Life Insurance and Annuities.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll translate design concepts and user requirements into high-quality, responsive solutions. Utilizing your expertise in React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Responsive Design you'll create intuitive and visually appealing interfaces to enhance user experience.

Deliverables and Performance Measures:

  • Develop and implement user-friendly mobile-responsive web applications using React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Help migrate our entire application stack from C# Razor to React, and build out arch separation between the UX layer and the C# services later
  • Collaborate with designers, back-end developers, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless user experience and efficient data flow.
  • Create and update core components library for use across Hexure applications ensuring consistency and re-usability
  • Ensure the performance, security, and scalability of web applications by optimizing code and utilizing best practices.
  • Write clean, well-documented, testable, accessible, highly-performant, maintainable code.
  • Effectively test and debug the front-end code to identify and resolve issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest web technologies and industry trends.
  • Participate in code reviews and providing feedback to other developers.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for front-end issues.
  • Continuously improve the user experience by suggesting and implementing new features and functionality.

What will make you successful:

  • 4+ Years Full-Time Front-End Development Experience in JS, HTML, CSS required.
  • 4+ years React, AngularJS, Vue, AngularJS, Redux, or comparable framework experience highly preferred.
  • Life Insurance, Annuities, or other Insurance Industry experience is a plus.
  • Experience with Razor & jQuery a plus.
  • Experience with GIT for version control.
  • Experience with React Native, Angular, or other mobile application development experience is a plus.
  • Experience with mobile responsive web design, as well as cross-browser development and testing.
  • Experience building rich data-driven web applications by consuming RESTful services and APIs.
  • Familiar with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD.

Expected hours of Work:

This is a full-time remote position. This team works with offshore Hexure teams in Jaipur, India, and work often starts around 7am mountain time (2-4 times a week). Occasional evening and weekend work may be required due to work demands.
