Our Client, one of the largest Financial Services Enterprises, is seeking a Compliance Specialist to join their team in Salt Lake City!

HYBRID! (3x Onsite in Salt Lake City UT)

This is a 6 Month W2 Contract with opportunity for conversion/extension.

You will support with the coordination adn screenings of government documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regulatory Compliance: Develop, implement, and maintain compliance programs to ensure the organization meets all applicable laws and regulations. This includes staying updated on regulatory changes and assessing their impact on company operations.
  • Document Management: Oversee the coordination and screening of all government, regulatory, and compliance documents. Ensure that documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to authorized personnel.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues. Develop and implement corrective action plans to mitigate identified risks.
  • Training and Education: Provide training to employees on compliance policies, procedures, and regulations to foster a culture of compliance within the organization.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Regularly monitor compliance activities and prepare reports for management. This includes reporting on the effectiveness of compliance programs and any issues identified.
  • Policy Development: Assist in the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures to ensure consistent practices across the organization.
  • Audit Coordination: Coordinate and support internal and external audits related to compliance, ensuring timely and accurate responses to audit findings.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field such as law, finance, or business administration.
  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or a related area.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a compliance role. This includes an understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks relevant to the industry.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effectively training staff and reporting to management.
