  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

We have an 11+ month contract with potential to extend for an Openshift Engineer with Openshift administration, shell scripting, and scripting with either Ansible, Bash or Python. 100% remote.

Walk me through the day to day responsibilities of this the role and a description of the project


Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot OpenShift clusters to ensure they are running smoothly.
Monitor resource usage and scale applications or the OpenShift cluster to meet demand while maintaining optimal performance.
Diagnose and resolve any issues related to the OpenShift platform, application deployments, or cluster performance.
Describe the performance expectations/metrics for this individual and their team:
Ensure consistent high availability of OpenShift clusters, meeting or exceeding SLAs for uptime and reliability.
Keep OpenShift clusters up-to-day with latest patches and updates, planning and executing upgrades with minimal disruption.

Required Skills/Experience: Preferred Skills/ Experience:
1. OpenShift Administration strong knowledge of managing and administering OpenShift clusters, including cluster setup, upgrades, monitoring, and troubleshooting. 1. Scripting Ansible, Bash, Python to automate deployment and management tasks.
2. Linux Administration proficiency with Linux/Unix, including shell scripting, managing processes, security configurations, and networking. 2. Automation Tools Familiarity with automation and IaC tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Helm, or OpenShift s own automation features.
3. Monitoring/Logging Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace) 3. CI/CD Pipelines Experience with setting up and managing continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines, integrating OpenShift with tools like GitLab.
