  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Building Envelope Consultants (BEC) is a professional consulting company focusing on the exterior envelope of structures. Our Staff is comprised of professionals who have been individually involved in the roofing and waterproofing industry for over 40 years. We pride ourselves on being dedicated to serving our clients’ needs and providing a proactive approach to preventing moisture intrusion into the clients’ facilities.

Building Envelope Consultants (BEC) is seeking an experienced on-site quality assurance observer to help ensure our clients’ expectations are met during the life of the project.

Job Responsibilities:

· Maintain or exceed quality standards by performing daily inspections of the contractor’s work

· Ensure that contractors do not deviate from project plans and specifications

· Monitor site safety and ensure that the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Act are addressed

· Document work in progress with daily photo logs and reports

· Effectively communicate with the client and contractors

· Attend pre-construction and other project meetings

· Travel to and from project sites within, or outside, the greater Houston area (may require occasional travel throughout Texas)

· Duties may change on a daily basis due to jobsite requirements

Qualifications & Requirements:

· Experience and knowledge in the roofing and waterproofing industry

· Must understand general construction terms

· Must be able to read and comprehend construction drawings and specifications

· Ability to work full-time, 40+ hour weeks, some weekends if needed

· Ability to work outside in variable weather conditions

· Valid drivers license and reliable method of transportation

· Upon hire, must successfully complete customer-specific requirements, which may include a background check administered by the customer

· Positive attitude and strong work ethic

· Must possess effective communication skills
