Job Overview - Senior Finance Associate (Hybrid):

Take on a hybrid role as a Senior Finance Associate with our venture capital client in New York, NY. Reporting to the Head of Finance & Operations, you'll oversee financial reporting, manage fund valuations, and lead operational projects to drive the firm's growth and efficiency.

Compensation: $115,000 - $125,000/year + bonus

Location: New York, NY

Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)

Responsibilities as the Senior Finance Associate:

  • Financial Oversight: Manage quarterly and annual financial reporting for all entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Valuation & Reporting: Assist with valuations, capital calls, and fund reporting processes.
  • Audit & Tax Coordination: Oversee audit and tax processes with fund administrators and external teams.
  • Investor Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate delivery of investor reports, tax filings, and K-1s.
  • Fund Operations: Support management company activities, vendor relationships, and compliance with reporting requirements.
  • Management: Monitor bank accounts, fund cash flow, and investment closings.

Qualifications for the Senior Finance Associate:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: 5-9 years of experience required, ideally a mix of public/private from VC/PE funds.
  • Skills: Strong financial acumen, analytical mindset, and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Other: Entrepreneurial, hands-on, and detail-oriented with a collaborative approach.
